IVF Due Date Calculator

ASRM-Aligned Calculations

How It Works

The Math Behind It

IVF due dates are more precise because we know the exact embryo age. We calculate a virtual LMP by subtracting the embryo age + 14 days from the transfer date, then add 280 days. Day 3 transfers add 263 days to transfer; Day 5 adds 261; Day 6 adds 260. This aligns with ASRM guidelines and accounts for the exact developmental stage at transfer.

How to Use

Select your embryo age at transfer (Day 3, 5, or 6) and enter the transfer date. The calculator gives your estimated due date, virtual LMP, and current pregnancy progress. Save results to compare different transfer scenarios or track twins.

Pro Tips

  • Frozen embryo transfers use the same calculation as fresh — the embryo age determines the math, not the freezing method.
  • IVF due dates are typically more accurate than LMP-based estimates because embryo age is known precisely.
  • Always confirm your due date with your reproductive endocrinologist, especially for multiples.

Medical Disclaimer: IVF due dates are more accurate than natural conception, but only ~5% of babies arrive exactly on the EDD. Always confirm with your reproductive endocrinologist.
